I like trying out new water too. Try some topwater stuff like buzz baits and poppers. I usually get a good topwater bite in weedy ponds |

right where you tagged the photo, is a great shoreline to fish, also, if you go again (long paddle) go to the end of the pond under the foot bridge and fish the mill river just past the bridge, this time of the year is great up there.... good fishing! |
